Five Signs of a Possibly Unhealthy Interest in Doctor Who You Won't See Anywhere Else

(Did you think that title sounded like an msn headline, too? Oh yeah, look at me and my internet-news-headline-writing skill set. Maybe I should get a picture like H00ligan's to go with it...)

1. You are far too quick to become suspicious of any unusual or out of the ordinary behavior - such as all the large office appliances in your workplace breaking down at once, a campus devoid of students, strange noises, your coworker's odd behavior, or the world's obsession with Twilight - and are much too eager to find any reason to attribute it to some sort of alien activity.
2. Each time you open Pandora, you make another attempt at creating a station that will play music composed by Murray Gold.
3. You, too, think bowties are cool.
4. This picture now hangs in your room, not only because it's gorgeous and you happen to love the work of Van Gogh, but also because another work from this same series of paintings featured prominently in the end of Doctor Who episode 210 (and see, you go look up the episode number on Wikipedia, too).
5. You also have a TARDIS. But rather than a blue box with a title that stands for "Time and Relative Dimensions in Space," yours looks a lot like a cell phone and stands for "Transmits and Receives Darn Interesting Stuff."
And, this one is fairly common, so it doesn't even get a number: you now own all four seasons of Doctor Who and are just waiting for the holidays when the fifth series will come out on DVD and you can watch the Christmas special.
