Something Every Girl Should Have

I've been thinking about this a lot in the past, and again more recently, hence the posting today. But every girl should have a gay best friend. Wouldn't that just be amazing? A sympathetic shoulder to cry on over guys that is much more insightful, and better smelling, than your typical girlfriend's. One who can offer great fashion advice and convince you that you look great even when you just got up, or dumped, or feel like last week's leftovers. A guy who is open about doing yoga and knitting. Someone who bakes you the best cake, cookies, pies, etc. for a pity-party or just for no reason at all. A guy who knows how to make jewelry by hand that looks better than the stuff you pick out for yourself. A guy who has a favorite scent and will watch Jane Austen movies and other chick flicks with you. Someone you can engage in great "harmless" flirting with. 

And if you find this in a guy who's actually straight and amazingly good looking, then you're very very lucky. Almost as lucky as me.
