Roomies

Being a roommate means:

• sometimes you watch movies for no reason other than to be with your roommates. Not because you like the movies, but because you like them.


• sharing your saltines because you'd do just about anything to make them feel better.


• grocery shopping is more fun.


• the white board's too small to be a quote board.


• knowing your roomies' boyfriends, and knowing when to turn them away from the door.


• you never get to sleep before 12.


• even once you're in bed, you still end up staying up 2 more hours talking.


• you know just how important "pineapples" are.


• you never get to go anywhere alone. But then again, you never have to.


• you still live with people who tease you for fun, even though you left your siblings at home.


• the apartment always smells like garlic and onions.


• you wake up to someone singing Michael Buble.


• some freshmen aren't so annoying.


• your eyes are opened, your comfort zone is stretched, and your heart gets fuller.
